From a young age, players at the University of Florida and Miami University of Ohio were using their favorite social media sites to keep in touch with friends and family.
Now, it’s the turn of the NFL.
On Friday, the NFL announced that it would expand the reach of its NFL.com social media app to include a chatroom.
With the addition of a chat room, NFL.tv will be able to expand its reach to more people in the future.
And while the chat room feature may seem like a small change, it is a big one for NFL.
The chatroom is one of the major new features coming with the NFL app.
“Chat rooms are just a great way to connect with your friends and have a more meaningful conversation,” said NFL senior vice president of product development, Adam Miller.
“We’re very excited about these new tools that allow us to be able connect with our fans and engage in the game that matters most to them.”
NFL.TV is expected to be one of several apps that will be added to the NFL App this fall.
NFL.net is already available on iOS and Android.
NFL Mobile is also available on mobile devices.
The league has also added new streaming partners like Amazon Prime Video, which will offer premium content to NFL fans and players.
NFL fans can now watch games on demand with their favorite streaming services like NFL Live and NFL Game Pass.
NFL game broadcasts are available through NFL.go.com and NFL.live.com.
And the NFL is looking to expand into streaming platforms like Amazon’s Prime Video.
“For the NFL, the launch of NFL.streams is a game-changer,” said David Tapp, chief technology officer for NFL Network.
“NFL is looking at ways to give fans the ultimate content experience while also enabling them to watch live games and more live games in their own homes.”
